Miguel CatalánMiguel Catalán González (Valencia, 1958) studied Philosophy in the University of Valencia, where he graduated and then got his PhD in 1991, with the theses John Dewey y la superación del dualismo. An abridged version has been published (Pensamiento y acción, Barcelona, 1994). After some time as a high school teacher he started teaching Ethics and Professional Deonthology in the Cardenal Herrera-CEU University in Valencia. In 2002 he published the first of a series of works on falsehood: Diccionario de falsas creencias (Barcelona: Ronsel, 2002). Since then and until now he has worked on a research project about deception, the results of which he has published in the Pseudology treatise, of which at the moment he has published the three first volumes:El prestigio de la lejanía (Barcelona: Ronsel, 2004), Antropología de la mentira (Madrid: Taller de Mario Muchnik, 2005) y Anatomía del secreto (Madrid: Taller de Mario Muchnik, 2008).
